Living Music Database

A complicated Rails 5 web application for discovering new music my contemporary composers who have works in the last half century.

Challenges

  • Connecting to the iTunes, Spotify, Wikipedia, and Google Knowledge Graph APIs.
  • Cron jobs to update the latest recordings for composers each day.
  • React-on-Rails front end for a dynamic user experience.
